Position available: Psychology administration and Case Management
This role is primarily a part-time administrative role with the possibility to extend the role into a more full-time case management role with involvement in helping develop and run psychology programs.
Admin role: Tuesday to Friday 9-1pm
Case management role (for appropriate applicant): Extended to full-time.
About the Role:
As the face of our business, this role is responsible for meeting and greeting clients, answering and directing calls, performing administration duties and attending to client needs.
The following competencies are required for this position:
Communication: Must be able to take all phone calls and talk to patients in a warm and caring manner. Must be able to listen to patients who may be emotional and provide a supportive environment.
Team work: Must be able to manage the diaries of four psychologists and communicate with psychologists about different cases and appointments.
Problem solving: Must be able to learn how to direct calls, answer queries regarding clinics and determine the best services/psychologist for each patient
Self- Management : Must be able to independently maintain four diaries (online), book patients, send out relevant background/questionnaires, communicate with teachers/schools and stay in regular email contact with patient regarding their appointments and follow-up. Must also be able to maintain a database of patients and required follow-up.
Planning and organising: Must be highly organized and systematic.
Technology: High level computing skills required: Microsoft Office- especially Word, Access, Outlook
Learning: Must be able to learn about a wide variety of psychological disorders and how psychologists assess and treat each of these problems
